Birthday Wishes

Merry christmas to you all hope you all had a wonderful xmas and that santa was good to you all. Sorry havent been blogging but my computer was playing up but think Ive managed to sort it out. This is a card I made for my crafty friend Carol, papers used were from SU and the stamp was from papermania cut out with nesties, candy and gems from stash. Im trying to tidy my craft room up a wee bit just now then Im going to carry on making xmas cards as I put myself under so much pressure this year trying to get them all done . finished off making 418 for orders and therefore never left myself enough time to make my own ones. Going to try and make at least 10 - 15 a week but we will see how well I get on. Away to have a look at some craft sales not that I need much but always on the look for a bargain. Birthday Girl

Busy busy with xmas cards etc but getting threw my orders and only one event left 8th Dec which is never really that busy but nice to have some stalls at it for the punters its the night santa arrives in huntly and the xmas lights are switched on then people come for a coffee and mincemeat pie. Birthday card instead of xmas and did the good old faithful easel card and use a LOTV square, cut with nesties the edge is done using my new nestie that I got from my mum for my birthday and I must say my big shot is red hot just now but loving it in fact I think I like it better than the cuttlebug everything just seems to be coming out so crisp and sharp cut and embossed. Papers are from either simply create or papercrafts Elgin, and stampin up along with the ribbon from there as well, gems and pearls are from my stash. Off back to the desk to crack on with my orders. Birthday Goodies

Well how spoilt have I been today and the stress of no cuttlebug has been resolved as I got a big shot and some new dies from Robbie for my birthday, cant wait to get using it, I got new nesties and a new punch and stamp set from my mum, handbag and scarf and jewellery from my sister and also got money( for more stash) not... from my Robbie and his mum have been one very lucky lady ,thank you to all my crafty friends for the lovely cards as well !! catch up with you all soon. 3 kings

Well new day today, thankfully all went well or should I say better than yesterday !! Made this easel card for someone and really pleased with the result its one of those toppers you buy and you think why ?? but its came out real nice, cut purple card corners with xcut corner punch, then cream card embossed with dotty folder the border and sentiment is cut out with my new nesties and I think they will be getting used a lot cut a double one for border and matched them up. Gems and pearls fom stash. I have borrowed my mums cuttlebug just now but its my birthday this week so I will maybe be lucky enough to get a new one. (fingers crossed) catch up tomorrow for more cards etc.. Aud x

Engagement

Well got off to a great start to the day got all my stuff ready for my stall at the pancake tea in aid of cancer research in the afternoon, so off I toddled and had a very succesful day they managed to raise a fantastic £863 for cancer which is great, then I toddled home to start amongst my orders again, I lost my rubber mat for embossing with my cuttlebug but my mum very kindly got a new one for me at elgin so I would give it a bash today with my marianne dies and thought it was very stiff so just gave it a tiny wee bit of oomph and oh my did my cuttlebug go out with a bang !!! and now the bloomin thing is completely broken and at my busiest time of the year so to say my stress levels are rocketing is an understatement so sos to my mum to borrow her one so will have a right look at my cuttlebug but its looking like it will be in the wheelie bin I am not impressed and the air is blue blue. Poor Robbie phoned me and he thought something was wrong with me as I was crying Im totally gutted and he said if thats all we'll get a new one there is worse things have happened he said chill- chill i was boiling... So thats my saga for today but boy do I feel better getting that off my chest so I hope I havent bored you, and as they say tomorrow is another day..so here's hoping its a better one for me. But getting back to my card made this engagement card for a friend of my sisters who wanted simple but nice so I hope this will be okay for her. Used my nesties for the hearts embossed with divine swirl and cut the border with my new nesties and embossed the layer with swiss dots, added pearls and gems from stash. Huntly

Busy today trying to catch up on my card orders, did this one of our School avenue, this is a photo mounted onto silver card that is embossed with snowflakes, then added a computer sentiment and black gems from my stash. glitzed the snow with stickles. Now trying to get wallets made for gift cards and money for men !! watch this space. Aud x

Crazy Golf

Made this card today for a golfer who has reached the big 50, was fine to do a birthday card instead of a xmas one, cut the easel shaped card on my cricut, then embossed the top part with a folder to make it look like a golf ball then added image its fom Kenny k coloured in with prismas, sentiment done on computer then cut with nesties finished off with candy. Off now to get the glad rags on as away to prizegiving at foggie bowling club, no prizes there to collect although I think Robbie should get the one for being the most sociable as he always seems to come home from there as if he's had a very very sociable day/ night !!!! Money Handbags

Well been pottering around today trying to make money wallets, so used my cricut to cut out top note shape as I did with the gift card ones but thought I would jazz them up like a wee radley bag then I glitzed them up with gems and just added a sentiment , did a gift for you as opposed to xmas so people can use them for birthdays as well. The bottom picture is the inside of the bag, it was the most footery bit, was knocking my stress levels a wee bit high but hay ho I managed. really pleased with the end result. Got a sale tonight at the kindergarden so hopefully will sell a few. Aud x

Present Just For You

Well thats another week nearly passed, I had a very successful coffee morning yesterday selling my cards etc, so been busy making more for this sat. Used LOTV stamp for this although I dont think it is a xmas stamp but thought it would pass . Coloured it in with prismas then cut with nesties and mounted onto checked paper from my stash I think they were a freebie with one of the magazines. I used snowflake embossing folder and cut the edges with MS punch, ribbon gems and pearls from stash. Away now to cook tea as Ive been very unsociable today sitting up in my craft room allday, Robbie doesnt mind as it means he gets the tv all to himself. Catch up again soon. Aud x

Granddaughter

Busy busy here today, getting ready for a coffee morning sale on sat, so gift card bags finished, money wallets done, sweetie bags done and cards done nowhere near enough cards but will see how we go, people can always order. Did this card using LOTV squares that I had left from last year, they are so quick and handy for cards Im waiting for my order from there with this years square they are lovely too. Embossed white with snowflake folder then cut border with MS border punch. Gems from stash, nice quick card so off to do some more before Robbie home for his supper. Audx

Doily Shape

Made this card for the grandchildren to give to their grandparents its for the same couple as the previous card is. What a nightmare trying to get gold without it being a horrible yellow colour or mirri card which is ok but just so easily marked. Cut this card out on my cricut with the wild card cartridge, then just layered it up then cut cream centre with nestie embossed with divine swirl the mariane cutter, is the gold centre then cutout heart and 50 with cuttlebug, pearls and flowers from stash, sentiment done on the computer. Quite pleased with the result !! Off to bed now been playing up here long enough.. Good night . Aud x

Happy Anniversary

Lovely day here with us in Huntly, got my washing all done and house tidy, so up to the craft room for the rest of the day. Made this card for a golden wedding, used darice embossing folder and nesties for the top half of the card, and the good old faithful swiss dots embossing folder, ms punch and lace from my stash although it looks quite cream here it is white, lady just wanted a clean and simple card so hopefully she will be pleased enough with this. Snowflake

Well been away today with my crafty friend Grace had a lovely day at the papetrie and picked up some new stash ,then went on to have lunch at Ross's in Inverurie really enjoyed my day and couldnt wait to get home and get stuck into my crafty stash. Made this card with papermania snowflake embossing folder, mounted onto black card, added ribbon which has silver writing you cant really see properly as my camera isnt playing ball, think its past its best I have a birthday coming up shortly so will maybe lucky enough to get a new one. I cut my snowflake with the sizziz cutter which i love it is so crisp then added glitter and gems sentiment was done on the computer. Away now for another play around. Aud x

Gift Card Holder

Been pottering around trying to make nice cards for gift cards for xmas, so came up with this and really pleased but think it needs something else on the front - open for suggestions !!! Used my cricut to cut out the shape then shadowed it then cut the size below it, its from the storybook cartridge, my friend Carol spotted this shape and its like the top note cutter from SU so thanks Carol !! The papers are SU ones from last year, but you could use any kind of papers, the handles are also cut with my cricut, Ive embossed the back of the bag with a folder, but numpty forgot to take a picture of it !, I stamped a sentiment inside and made a wee pocket for my gift card, tryed to cut bits so the card would sit in but it just looked tacky and I didnt like it and didnt want to spoil my bag. The brad and ribbon is from stash and I cut the snowflake and put a wee pearl on it. Off for another potter around. Aud

Christmas Wishes

Made this card a wee bit different just a change from being just square so I folded in half of the front then decorated both front and inside with papers from my stash, cut insert with nesties and corners are with cuttlebug cutters. Image on the front was from my stash from last year, mounted onto a nestie then decorated the corners with candy. Put on two photos to show you the end result but not quite sure how to sort out the displaying of them with mr blogger. Thats all for one day I think I have had a very productive day and thoroughly enjoyed tootering about myself...

Snowflake

Iv e had a busy day making xmas cards, Robbie away bowling and my mum took up a lovely chicken mayo sandwich, so havent any cooking to do today so really enjoying some stress free crafting and no cooking. Made this card using SU baja breeze and cherry cobbler card, shapes cut our with cricut, snowflake stamped with serene snowflakes again from SU and heat n stick powder and glitter added gems and ribbon from stash must see if I can get my camera to work right its just playing up just now and everything looks so fuzzy. Off back to my desk for the next lot of xmas cards ...

Xmas Bauble

Well made this xmas card with my friend Carol and what a laugh it was, it took a whole afternoon to make it , between yapping and trying different things and yapping to much and getting things wrong but it was great fun and really pleased with the end result. Used the cricut wild cards to make the round shape then christmas cheer for the bauble , then embossed layers with embossing folders, image from sugar nellie coloured in with prismas but my camera playing up just now so colours dont look so good. I added ribbon from stash and glitter brads I bought and afterwards thought what will I do with these but they actually fit this card really well, again used the cricut to cut the tags for sentiment then stamped with a stamp after about 5 trials I actually gave up with tag stamping and got Carol to do it for me... This will be a card that I wont forget making pop over to Carols blog http://somethinggonemissing.blogspot.com/ tomorrow she said she will post her's looking forward to her story about this card.. and also her end result as neither of us finished our cards at the time. Dasher

Another xmas card done and dusted, this time used the dasher SU stamp and stamped and embossed him in silver, added gems from stash to his antlers, again used my new cricut cartridge to do the white backing,there will be steam coming out my cricut at this rate, poor thing is getting over worked just now, but loving experimenting with it !! Furry Friends

Ok Carol you are responsible for this stamp being bought I saw the one on your blog and just thought it looked so cute and xmassy, and it fell into my basket at the papeterie on sat... Coloured it in with prisma pencils then glittered it up with glamour dust. Cut the shapes out with cricut , can see this cartridge getting well used it is so good and they all fit so nice into each other, who needs nesties ??? Gems and candy from stash. The base card was from craftworks which I must say I do like their cards and candy and they are so quick to use instead of cutting and folding your own. Of back to my craft desk not a day for doing much else.

Birthday Girl

A lovely day with us here been outside in my garden so thats it all spruced up and pansy's and polyanthus , washed the car along with Robbie so its looking good again as it was so mucky . A change from xmas cards for a wee girls 1st birthday papers are from craft creations and and plain pink from my stash, cut with the MS punch, and layered up. Image from Dawn's stamps which I purchased at papercrafts Elgin, coloured in with prisma pencils then cut out with nesties. Now back to the xmas cards its fine just a wee break from them.

Red Baubles

Been having a play around with my cricut today and getting different shapes and sizes this is a frame from the new cartridge elegant edges it is really good and versatile you can cut , layer and also cut borders to match the frames so here is an example used the papermania bauble stamp but only used half of it if that makes sense then embossed it with red to make it stand out I then edged my paper with barn door distressing ink, added gems then cut the border to match and added ribbon from bee crafty in Elgin along with more gems.The ribbon has merry christmas on it and thats why I havent added a sentiment its just you cant see it with the photo as it was reflecting. Scrummy Fudge

Good enough to eat !! Made this for the lassie from Rhynie that makes tap o noth fudge , papers from Papercraft Elgin and cuttlebug corners, ribbon and gems from stash. Wish my fudge came oot looking like this had some at our card session on sat it was ok but really soft but my dish came home empty so mustve been ok, unless all my crafting friends were just hungry !!!

Dasher

Busy crafting mad today, glitter everywhere as well as the card here, distressed the top of the card with faded jeans ink the put on a scrap of paper to get the snow effect then glittered it up with glamour dust lovely glitter but oh messy !!!! Then I stamped dasher in black along with the trees from hero arts stamp set then added gems to dashers antlers.

Tree Trimmings

Glitter glitter everywhere, used SU tree trimming stamps for this card stamped in baja breeze and nights of navy layered up on navy and silver card. The edges are cut with Martha Stewart snowflake punch, gems and ribbon are from stash. Away to create some more xmas cards.. Audx

Snowflake

Woo hoo on a roll today with the xmas cards I might not be the same tomorrow it will be a roll over in the bed for another 40 winks, but will cross that bridge when I come to it.. Used weathered wood distressing ink for the bottom part of the card them embossed it with cuttlebug folder and then took a bit of sandpaper and gave it a rub quite like the effect, it has a vintage look, cut the snowflake with the sizzix die on shimmery card, I wished I had a bigger stamp for the sentiment its a wee bit small, but looks ok. Gems and ribbon fom stash.

Xmas Baubles

Well its coming up to xmas time again and well behind schedule with my cards so im on the clean and simple look, just love this bauble I tried to get it last year but wasn't lucky enough then, but I have it now so it full speed ahead. Did this one in black and white with red gems and quite like it, stamped my baubles then embossed them to sharpen them, punched border out with fiskars punch and then added silver ribbon from bee crafty in Elgin sentiment from computer and gems from stash. Away to bash on with more xmas cards. Aud x

Silver Wedding

Silver wedding card made last night and I used holographic card so it a bit rainbow looking, embossed white card with the divine swirl folder and cut hearts out with nesties and stamped with silver ink and flourish stamp from SU with embossing powder, ribbbon and gems from stash. I had to used a peel off much against my will but I didnt have a stamp and a computer sentiment didnt look right, of now to make some xmas cards and I have one new home card to make as well. Aud x

1st Birthday

Made this card using a LOTV square and cut it with nesties, papers are again from craft creations cut with a fiskars punch, must say you can always rely on fiskars punches to cut all kinds of card sometimes get dissapointed with the MS ones are they are picky with what kind of card they cut. Sentiment done on the computer and candy from stash. Would really love to be getting on with xmas cards as Im way behind schedule with them. But hopefully get my other orders up to date this week and get on with them. Hopefully Kara will give me some inspiration this sat. catch up with you all soon .Aud

Fab at Forty

Well don't fall off your seats with the shock that Ive actually got round to blogging again and I will try and keep it up. Ive taken about 20 minutes to put this post on as I had forgotten what to do... Just a simple card for a 40th birthday cut the numbers out with my cricut the shadowed them to get the layered effect then jazzed them up with gems and candy from my stash. Golden Wedding

Woo its been a busy few weeks havent had time to swing a cat, so here I am back hopefully to normal or as normal as Im going to be... Been busy was getting my kitchen done up oh me the worst job ever.. every room was a mess I just wanted to disappear and come back when it was finished, however I just have my curtains to go up and thats it finshed. This is a golden wedding card I made today it was for Robbie's auntie and uncle used my embossing folders and MS punch, ribbon and pearls from stash cut out the hearts with nesties and embossed with divine swirl folder and cut the 50 out on my cuttlebug, hopefully thats me back into full swing with my cards again I just couldnt be bothered trying to work threw the mess as Im a bit of a neat freak in my craft room but if you'd seen the mess of it the last 2 weeks you would have avoided it as well.. Lily I hope your about finished with your decorating and diy jobs I sympathise deeply with you.

Hopefully wont be so long before I blog again and I do apologise for not visiting anyones blogs over the last couple of weeks.

Birthday Boy

Well very mixed weather here today one minute the sun is shining the next its pouring but that is Scotland for you.. I made this card yesterday for a teenager I used the sugar nellie stamp coloured in with prisma pencils, paper from Simply Create I think !! used cuttlebug embossing folder for the embossing of the red paper, candy from stash. I didnt make it to the girls just want to have fun day at The Papeterie yesterday but judging by Kaths blog looks and sounds like you all had a great fun filled day, maybe next time if there is a next time which Im sure there will be, I will be able to go. Off now to play bowls at Macduff that will probably be a very sociable day, well not so much for me because Im the driver but at least I will waken up tomorrow feeling better than the rest of them... catch up soon. Made this card with a Sugar Nellie Coffee Time stamp for a young girl, coloured it in with Prisma pencils and embossed it inside a cuttlebug folder. Papers were from my stash I cant remember what they were, sentiment from LOTV, candy and pearls from stash.

Just love this card I made for a friends 65th birthday he is a plumber so thought this image was very appropriate. Papers are craft creations and a nitwit baby , coloured the image in with prismas, card and candy from cardcraft and twine from Simply Create, Alford.

40th Birthday

Been busy today trying to catch up with card orders so this is one I made for a 40th birthday papers were free with my magazine this month, pink card stock is from stash I used a LOTV square but cut it round with my nesties , ribbon and candy from stash. Of to do another card now for a plumber who is 65 shortly and I have a cracking image for it watch this space....

Birthday Boy

Well had great intentions today but just tootered around today and got nothing done, went to visit my mum and Robbie's mum and came home with great intentions and haven't done much at all Ive tidied my craft room as bought some new card etc from papeterie, so its all neat and tidy. Bit exhausted today as was at clinic yesterday and im just drained today and got to take more tablets which will make me drowsy or drowsier than normal so im a bit flat, want to do so much but just no energy but hae ho there is always another day..

Card made for a wee boys birthday, image from Karens doodles coloured with prisma pencils. used soft suede ink from SU for the edges, papers from Papercraft Elgin cut with SU punch and ek punch for the borders, candy from stash.

Cupcakes

Another lovely day her with us in Huntly just hope it stays not good days for cardmaking you just want to be outside. This is another of the cards I made yesterday was on a roll I used the cupcake stamp that was free with a magazine and coloured it in with prisma pencils papers are Nanas nursery baby girl set they are so bonny and lovely quality papers, I stamped the background with a script stamp from Marion Emberson design its nice little writing I think it was Elgin I bought it from then distressed it with victorian velvet, used nesties to cut out circles card from craftworks, as is the sentiment and candy from stash. Off to do a wee bit of housework now worst luck I could spend allday crafting and blogging but don't think it would go down to well with Robbie.. catch up soon. Audx

Relax

This is the 1st of my cards that I made today for a male who doesnt really have any hobbies and when I asked his mum what he liked to do she said nothing .. that is the problem.. so I thought this image of a male relaxing was quite appropriate image is from Karensdoodles coloured in with prisma pencils or though I wasnt really happy with the colouring of the trees, paper is from Papercrafts Elgin and the blue is from stash embossed with Birthday folder, candy from stash and used computer for sentiment., best crack on now loads more cards to do.

Its amazing how the rain motivates you to do cards again not much else to do on a dreich day like today well I could do housework put hay ho there is always another day for it.... Used a Me To You bear stamp that came free with the do crafts creativity magazine for this card. Papers are up up & away from papercrafts Elgin and used craftworks card with fancy edges and just folded it back and added ribbon and candy. coloured stamp in with prisma pencils.

Made this anniversary card for a lady used darcie embossing folders which I borrowed from my mum really like them they emboss so crisp, used green linen paper from simply create and the MS heart punch stamped hero arts hearts. Ribbon, candy and pearls from stash.

80th Birthday Poppies

This is a card Ive made today for Robbie's mums 80th Birthday cut the base card with my cricut then just came down1/4 inch every layer to get the other colours to fit in to the base shape. Used cuttlebug wallpaper embossing folder for the red, stamped hero arts poppy stamp and coloured in with prisma pencils then I used a cuttlebug border to emboss round the edges of it. Pearls and ribbon from stash. Used MS heart punch for border and computer for the sentiment.

Cricket

Back to carding our fine weather has dissapeared and back on the thicker clothes. Made this card today for a friend who is 21 next week, Very into his cricket so thought this image was appropriate, not sure where I got it from it was in my small stash of crafty stuff.... coloured the image in with prisma pencils, used cuttlebug birthday embossing folder and inked the sides with peeled paint , candy from stash used ek punch for the border up the side. Off now to make a 80th Birthday card for Robbies mum.

Celebration

Sorry I haven't been blogging much last week but this fine weather will probably be short lived so decided to get into my garden and get it sorted so just a wee bit to do now then that will be it, a bit cooloer today so decided to make some cards. It's Robbie's mums 80th birthday coming up so this is one for her grandsons to give to her. Used mindseye tickled pink papers and the image is fizzy moon coloured in with prismas, ribbon and candy from stash , I used some glamour dust for the champagne glasses although you can't really see it .

Made this card the other day but didnt have time to blog it, used the new craftworks card for base and english rose kaisercraft paper stamped inkadikadoo image onto cream paper and stamped with sage versamagic ink used ms doily punch and a border from the paper pack as well. Used mint green candy distressed with victorian velvet ink just to get the colour I wanted. Pearls from stash.

21st Birthday

This my card from yesterday, for a 21st birthday not my own one unfortunately !! im just slightly older. Paper from stash cant remember what they are called, used nesties to cut the image which is from bugaboo stamps I think, memory and what I have as a brain not working very well today. Coloured in with prisma pencils. Ribbon/lace from a shop in Inverurie candy from stash and used MS heart punch. Off out now to take my old young neighbour out to learn to drive not sure what Ive let myself in for .. He is 21 but didnt want to learn when he was younger so I volunteered to take him out....
