Just trying to get a variety of cards for my stock box, so decided to go for wedding day card. Used cricut to cut the shaped card then LOTV large square image edged with victorian velvet distressed ink, spotty paper is paper cellar wedding pack used MS heart punch and lace and candy from stash. These toppers are so quick and handy.
My newyears resolution was to do more cards and enter them into challenges but well this is the end of January and this is the 1st one I have entered so lets hope I can do more in Feb. Made this card for one of the young guys at bowling club he has also been a neighbour to my mum for years, thought I would do a change from bowls and he is a great one for the darts although I think he likes the beer as well. I think i will try and do more cards like these quite effective and they stand up well.
Anniversary card I made used mostly the cuttlebug just for a change of card and texture use dotting square folder and the border for the flowers, cut the hearts with nesties and used stampin up papers for it, I like using these but I dont like using them if that makes sense ! they are so bonny but they are now discontinued - shame !!. Gems and pearls from stash. This card looks better in real it has a bit of a glare with the shiny paper and the flash on my camera.
Vintage car for someone 80th birthday difficult to do when you dont know them. This is a car topper from CUP and I decoupaged it up a little just to raise the car, did it onto an easel style card really like doing these. Used EK punch for border and candy from stash, nellie die for sentiment.
Such a cute wee image this from LOTV, but i was a bit of a numpty when I did this card I coloured in my image then realised I didnt have papers to go with it, thats a lesson Ive learned not to do again. So after having in a hunt in the shops I came across this one which is Best creations, once upon a time 12x12 sheet, use bo bunny for the lilac and the retro punch for the flowers, pearls from wildorchid crafts. Ive had a great weekend crafting, crafting and more crafting but it has been great just the pick me up I needed after the week Ive had so off to have a bath and bed and hope this next week will be better, not sure how much better as I have the dentist tomorrow so Im just going to tell him no treatment I need my money for crafting goodies ?
Another bowling card for the same person as my other easel one but this time cut it out like a bowl and he has black speckled bowls so used some dots from peel offs to make it speckled, never hardly use peel offs now changed days from when I 1st started making cards, used cuttlebug alphabet for the red 60. Nesties for the sentiment distressed with black soot.
This is a 60th Birthday card I made for someone this week used this topper and printed it off onto photo paper so its came out nice and bright used ek punch for the border and nellie nestie for sentiment. Wish I could find some better things for mens cards they are always a struggle.

Used this martini girl image for a card for a 25 yr old difficult age when you don't know them, coloured image with prisma pencils. Papers quite contrary and used cuttlebug embossing border and gems and flowers from stash.
Love these new LOTV images i've been a bit if a cheat here and used one of the squares, I wish I could colour in like that. Red and white papers from Klondyke Garden Centre Inverness, used MS punch for the top and bottom, LOTV stamp for the sentiment and gems and ribbon bow and hearts from stash.
Having a play about just now doing different shaped cards , did this new baby one today with pennyblack stamp coloured in with prismas, used my cricut to cut the shapes out, wanted to make this card for a wedding but didnt have a stamp or topper that quite fitted it, distressed paper with spun sugar and edged it with dusty concord. Ribbon, gems and flowers from stash.
Well ladies I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year, im just looking forward to getting back to normal, dont know which day it is they are all the same just now, and its not because ive had too much Gin before you all start thinking that. This is all my new goodies that I got from Robbie for my xmas and ive been so looking forward to having a play about with them but the body and mind are dead. Some of my friends said they didnt get any new crafty things for xmas they thought there family thought they had enough, they obviously dont know us crafters you NEVER have enough....
