Coffee break

This was a quick card I made yesterday for someone, who wants the card like yesterday !!  I used papers from SU the topper is a Kanban inside a nestie edges distressed with old paper, pearls ribbon and candy from stash, punch is xcut , I would really like to stay at home today and have another crafting day but must go to work and earn some more pennies... no work no pay !!! Contemplation

Ooh a bit on the chilly side here, was a thought to get out of my cosy bed, but had to get up early have so much to do !! So here is my 1st card for the day its with the sugar nellie  Cassie's Contemplation stamp, coloured in with prismas, I stamped her onto a shape cut with my cricut and distressed with antique linen. Papers are basic grey but not sure the name as Ive cut the bottom label off. gems and pearls from stash. Cant get my camera set right my photos are not as clear as they should be think I will need to get the manual out to have a look..

Dorothy

Been busy cardmaking allday today but took a while to find my feet in my new room layout, its not that its much different but Ive put stuff in a different place and was being so tidy that I couldnt find anything I was needing, so made this card for a 70th birthday papers are three bugs in a rug rhapsody happy , which I think I bought at Alford but had never used, embossed the white card with the script folder 7x5 so fits these cards well, stamped image is a Magenta stamp  pearls from stash sentiment done on computer. Off now to put my feet up and relax for the evening. Catch up tomorrow.Aud x

Birthday Girl

This is a card Ive made for my niece for her birthday its a sugar nellie stamp coloured in with prisma pencils, papers were again freebies from one of the craft magazines, ribbon and pearls are from stash. Been revamping my craft room today so got a new desk from the charity shop so really pleased with it so not done much in the cards line today trying to reorganise everything to suit me so I  will get a clean fresh start tomorrow got quite a few cards to do and really want to get going with wedding invites as well. Better go and make some supper or I will be in trouble.. sweet & sour chicken on the menu tonight. Catch up soon. Aud x

Anniversary

Well havent blogged for the last couple of days been busy at work and been shattered when I came home but up bright and early today all set for a day of crafting, made this card in the morning for 2 small kiddies to give to their granny & granda. Image is a sugar nellie -bubble & squeak,coloured in with prismas then cut with nestie, used crafts too embossing dots folder for the backing, ribbon was from bee crafty in Stonehaven gems and pearls from stash. Went up to Lilly's in the afternoon and had a great time crafting with all my crafty buddies so will post my card on blog tomorrow, and I hope Lily will be motivated now to start making her cards again, really nice everyone getting together for a natter and a cuppa. Of now to have a hot bath then off to bed. Night. Aud x

Well had a weekend off from my cards as I was away to Arbroath with Robbie watching the bowls, so had a great day yesterday but a bit sleepy headed today. Had this card to make for someone so decided to get cracking with it today I had already coloured the image and looked out my papers so it was just a case of putting it together. not sure where this image is from I had it in my stash and I think I mustve stamped it when I had a crafty day with my friends, so coloured her in with prismas,  papers are freebies from magazine, then cut image with nesties and distressed a background and embossed it with folder, candy and pearls from stash, sentiment done on computer, off now to prepare a card for my niece for her birthday and I will put it together tomorrow. Happy Birthday

Cards cards and more thought things would quieten down after xmas but its all go, no rest for the wicked as they say, made this one today , not to sure about it, so will blog it and see what comments I get... Background papers are from kanban and the stamped image is a penny black, I stamped it then distressed the background with victorian velvet ,the middle is with my nesties and the pearls and gems are from my stash.. Used a stamp for the sentiment. I usually use black ink but Carol I think youve converted me to the choc brown ink now really quiet like it and it worked well with this as the backing paper has brown in it. Off to pour myself a cheeky wee gin just to finish off my day back tomorrow with a card for a teenager !! Oh to be one of them again.. Aud x

This is a card I made for my cousin Gail, the papers are freebies that I got in cards and papercraft magazine, image was one I had in my stash cant remember where it was from, coloured it with my prismas, used the fleur nesties for the frame and gems and candy from stash. Im using the new blogger so this is the 1st  post ive done with it so hope it works okay. I also tried to get a new blog layout and background but not quite sussed out how to do it right , tried one already and failed... so will have another bash at it some other night. Aud x

Sew Special

This is a card I made for a lady to give to her daughter in law who is into doing tapestries so thought it would be quite appropriate. Used papers from SU (again). Stamp is penny black coloured in with my prismas I cut round the image them placed it inside a nestie, seam binding and pearls and gems from wild orchidcrafts, stamped the sentiment with baja breeze ink. Off now for a play about with my memories digital software. Aud x

Baja Birthday

Well frosty frosty here today but a lovely day, went for a nice brisk walk this morning just to wake myself up feeling a bit sleepy headed just now, so back home all revived and ready to go, this is my 2nd attempt at this card as I didnt like my 1st one so again used the SU papers and the same stamp but changed my layout after advice from my crafty friends. ! Added some different ribbon and different sentiment, better pleased with the result. Off now for a play about with a pennyblack stamp hopefully will get a another card made as Im home alone as Robbie away to Falkirk bowling and wont be home till late late on so just having the day to myself doing what I love.. Happy Birthday

Well not a very nice day I think snow could be lurking around somewhere its certainly cold enough for it, although nice and cosy where I am, yip back in that craft room, its my second home but wouldnt change it for nothing. Been making this card today but im not 100% sure about it I think its lacking something but cant put my finger on it !! feedback would be good.. Its made using the papers from SU which I like so much I try not to use them silly I know but hay ho. Stamp is one that fell threw my letterbox today from Mr Postman man he is so kind.. inked with memento rich cocoa, used the good old fiskars punch for the edges and ribbon and gems from stash, sentiment is done on the computer although Im not sure it is the right style of sentiment to put on to the card, think I will go and have another play about with it to see if I can improve it. 70th Birthday

Been busy having a play around allday in my craftroom, just trying out different layouts and stamping, die cutting, embossing you name it, fine to have time to do it. This is one of the cards I made for a lady. Papers and ribbon are stampin up, image stamped with old olive ink and the stamp used is a papermania one from a set that I bought in papercrafts Elgin cutout with nesties also used nesties for my sentiment. The white background is embossed with good old favourite swiss dots just to lift the flatness away. I better go and tidy up my mess as im working tomorrow and wednesday so wont be back for a play around until thursday. Aud xx

Art Deco

Lovely day looking out today but ooh its pretty chilly here nice behind the glass. Having a crafty day as Robbie is away bowling allday then im going down at night as they are having a race night although there could be a few donkeys by the time I go down, will get a laugh if anything they are very sociable there... This is a card that Ive done today with a recycled page from a calendar, did it as an easel card as its for a 50th birthday, lady didnt want 50 on it and wanted something classy so hope this will fit her bill. Papers are me to you and ribbon from simply create, gems and candy from stash.

Birthday Wishes

Happy New Year to all my crafting friends hope you all got some new stash for xmas and are ready for a good year of crafting ... Haven't made much cards yet as I was having a break but as Robbie says my shoppe is now open again !! so started off with this birthday card image is fizzy moon, coloured in with prismas and papers are from my minds eye, life of the party!
