Wedding Day

Sorry to all my blogging friends I said last week I was going to be back on track and blogging again but havent had a good week, been feeling a bit under the weather mainly because I have very inconsiderate neighbours moved in and do believe in partying.. so didint get much sleep last weekend at all and its really knocked me for six, so Im on holiday for 2 weeks now and I am going to try and relax a bit although Im not really good at that ! Im taking my mother in law to the opticians tomorrow then having lunch, then on tues im going to my sisters and she is very kindly going to take me to some of the craft shops down in her neck of the woods then on thursday Robbie is going to take me to Inverness to howdens garden centre/ craft shop so looking forward to all of these trips then the rest of the holidays Im free to do as I wish.  I got all my wedding invitations finished and I will post them once the bride has sent them out to her guests, so had a play around in my craft room today. This wedding card  was done using LOTV squares but I cut it with nesties, embossed my background with swiss dots folder then the border is with nesties as well, decorated with gems and pearls from stash, corner is with crafts too punch. Cupcake

Well havent been blogging for more than a week, between trying to get my room back into shape and trying to get wedding invitations finished, so room is spick and span and had a major de clutter so really pleased with it, and im almost finished the invitations. I made this card yesterday for a girl that works with my sister, so used a new cricut cartridge that Robbie kindly bought me and I just love it think it will get well used, I also made the basket with it as well , then filled it with mini eggs. The cupcake image is from papercupcake digital stamps coloured in with prismas, my sister wanted choc brown and duck egg colours for the card, she likes to give cards to match peoples decor ..strange but everyone to there own I just did as I was asked. Hopefully be back to commenting and blogging better next week. I want all my invitations finished as im on holiday for 2 weeks and the start of april and just want to do as I wish and have a well earned break. Enjoy the rest of your wekend. Aud x

Special Delivery Baby

Well Im a lot happier today finally got my floor repaired but joiner coming back to sort my window tomorrow so hopefully by the weekend everything will be back to normal, this is the other black&white card for new baby did an easel card this time, corners were cut with crafts too punch and border with the craft tonic one, ribbon is from lainesworld and the stamp is LOTV pearls and gems from stash. Off now to try and get some of my furniture and stash back into my room then an early night as joiner coming at 7.30am then Im off to Dundee with Robbie tomorrow. New Baby

This was a challenge for me especially when I cant get into my craftroom to access my stash so just had to make the most of what I had at hand a friend wanted a card done for a new baby but didnt want pink just black & white which I cant understand as there are so many nice baby papers and other colours to use but as they say the cusotmer is always right !!  Cut the edge of my card with craft tonic punch ribbon and candy was from my stash, I used the penny black stamp and didint add any colour just some glamour dust to the blanket. This was stamped into the centre of a cuttlebug embossing folder frame. Gave it to the lady yesterday and she was delighted and said so would the girl that its for. Away to do another one now for this girls mum to give to her so again it will be black and white. Watch this space... Catch up soon Aud x

What a Mess

Monday morning and I certainly have the blues,  I cant get into my craft room and havent been in all weekend as Im getting a new floor put in, I tried crafting downstairs last night but it just wasnt to be, I had to keep going up and down the stairs (who needs step aerobics) but I couldnt find what I was looking for as everything is all over the place, so will be out of my room most of this week, I will have serious withdrawl symptoms, but it will be better in the long run, I think if it was left much longer I would probably fall down threw the roof and that would be even more of  a disaster. So I wont be blogging much this week, but I will try and keep up todate with my followers on my ipod as my computer is buried somewhere. Catch up soon. Aud x

BabyBoy

Ooh Thursday already where does the time go,  Ive made this card today for my friend who has just had a baby boy so cut the shape out with my cricut them layered it up, papers are baja breeze from SU and the spotty one is from craft creations, image is a LOTV coloured in with prismas. I used the stamps for the candy but oh they are tricky my ink kept smudging so if anyone has any tips on how to overcome this then please let me know, I tried 3 different inks but still wasnt really pleased with the end results. I used my nesties for the computer sentiment and the pearls was from my stash, of now to get organised for my slimming class and I hope it goes better than last week as I had a class managers worst nightmare !! my scales broke what a disaster so to say that I was stressed was an understatement, they were weighing everyone heavy everyone had gained weight so hopefully I will have pounds of my members tonight !!! Relax its your Birthday

Monday morning, what a lovely one at that its a bit nippy but really nice. Havent made a card all weekend as I was away allday sat at a training course and was trying to charge my batteries up yesterday, so full steam ahead today. This is a card made using little claires stamp it for my neighbour so didnt want nothing to fancy. Papers were from lainesworld a bargain at 25p a sheet corner punch is crafts too candy from my stash I cut the shape out with my cricut and then added stitching with a pen to go with my papers. . Im away to make tattie soup now then going to get stuck into wedding invitations in the afternoon. Catch up with you hopefully tommorow. Aud x
