Merry Christmas

Afternoon to you all, ive been neglecting my blog a bit this last week but been busy helping to organising a 50th birthday for my boss Im not sure I shouldve as im coming up to the big 40 soon and as he told me revenge is sweet !! We had a fantastic night and about 95% of people came in fancy dress lots of effort went into the costumes, enough rabbling and onto my card today I used serene snowflake stamps and baja breeze ink from SU then i embossed my top snoflake and added gems , the punch is also SU and the sentiment is from craftwork cards, I used silver mirri card for the backing but the photo doesnt really do it justice. Hope to catch up with you later on in the week with some more xmas cards.  The photos below were robbie and I in fancy dress at the party, we were both so hot with those wigs on but was all worth it !! 30th Birthday

Had a day pottering around in my craft room as Robbie was watching sport for most of it, trying to do xmas cards but had a few birthday cards to do first so this is one of them, the image is from my stash cant remember where its from but coloured her in with promarkers the embossing folder is a new one my mum bought so had to have a shot of it and really like it , its not unlike the sizzix one but unfortunately its discontinued, the gems and ribbon are also from my stash and the punch is a craft tonic, speaking of tonic I think I will go and put my feet up and have a gin & tonic, catch up with you all soon. Diamond Wedding

Thursday again and not a very nice one either its dreich as they say, a good day for crafting well its either that or housework !!  Did this card today for a diamond wedding, cut the backing out with my cricut then embossed with swiss dots folder then cut a heart and a shadow for it and did them both in cream then embossed the shadow and layered the heart onto it although the photo doesnt really show the layers, the sentiment was done on my computer then cut with nesties. Gems are all done with my hotfix tool off now for another play around, Catch up with you all soon. Aud x

Happy Halloween

Afternoon to you all, Ive not been blogging much this week, I was working Monday instead of tuesday this week and its knocked me all off ,  thats easy to do !! Just had a great afternoon playing around with my crafty buddys and how time flys when your having fun. Ive made this halloween goody bag for a little girl who comes to visit me on a friday her name looks squint on here but its the way that Ive had to have my bag sitting to get a photo of it as its really to heavy for my stand, I cut the pillow bag with my cricut and the image is a freebie from https://www.redonkulousdesigns.com/ which i coloured in with my promarkers and I use some candy at the top and little peel off dots, I filled the bag with kiddy sweeties and a penny for her so Im sure she will be delighted . Penny black Snowman

Thursday already where has the week gone, this is a card that I started yesterday when I was at my crafty friend Moiras house it is a penny black stamp and I coloured him in with promarkers then added a bit of glamour dust. I just wanted to leave it on white so that it stood out and I really quite like it I embossed my card with xmas folders and the good old faithful swiss dots. My border is cut with nesties then I added a few gems and pearls. Sentiment is craftwork cards. Off now for a snoop around blogland. Aud x

Weddings

Good Morning to you all and a nice one at that !! A bit nippy but a lovely day. Ive been doing some wedding stuff to put in to the window at my work, just trying to brighten up the shop and promote the business a bit. I cut the tuxedo ,dress and bag  with my cricut then decorated them up with embossing folder and gems from stash, the invite was done using hearts from my stash that I bought at hobbycraft which were reduced to 50p and they have been lying in my stash to decided to use them, the punched edge is EK  and the small gold gems are from papercraft Elgin. Im off now for a play around at one of my crafty friends house and Ive baked a nice fresh cream and raspberry sponge to take with me. Catch up with you all soon . Aud x

Our House to Your House

Saturday again where does the time go !! It will be xmas before we know it, Im still trying to do xmas cards but so slow this year.  Im going to cut down on the amount I give this year and give the money to charity,  half of the people you give and get cards you never hear or see from year to year and I think the cost of postage this year will have an effect on how many are posted. So onto my card for today, this is a stamp from papermania and I coloured it in with my promarkers and glitzed it up with glamour dust, the border punch is xcut and a nestie for the tag along with one of craft work cards tags , Gems and pearls from stash. Of now to see what I can do today, I think it will be a lazy day or I may go to Turriff with Robbie as he is bowling. Catch up soon. Aud x

Furry Friends

Morning to you all, a wee bit nippy here today but a nice bright day. Havent been blogging much this week Ive been trying to tidy my craft room and have a clear out, I keep things and bits of paper and never use them so Ive been brash and had a major de-clutter so looking so much better ! Onto my card for today this is done using papers that I had in my stash that I didnt really like after I'd bought them  but quite liked them after Ive used them. The image is from Sugar Nellie called furry friends she is just so cute ! I cut the shape out with my cricut and coloured my image in with promarkers. Gems are from stash. Off this afternoon to have a play around with my crafty friend Carol as all the rest of our crafters are off to the theatre. Catch up soon. Aud x
