Carols Birthday

I have been card making all weekend and week but just havent had time to put them onto my blog, made this one yesterday for Carol's birthday bought the paper from simply create and also the brown lace and ribbon buttons from my stash and the stamp was from Glasgow. Used linen paper and distressed it then stamped the poppy image with expresso ink, wasn't impressed trying to colour in with the linen paper it just wouldnt blend so a wee bit dissapointed with the end result. Carol hope you had a lovely birthday... Hopefully i will have more cards on soon to show you just so busy just now. This photo was taken really quickly so doesn't just show the card off very well.

Wedding Day

Wedding Bells, need winter woolies on for a wedding at this time of year, used stampin up bridal papers for this card and I just love them they look so good. Mounted stripped paper onto black satin card then cut out the heart with the patterned paper ( I mean cut, I drew round the black heart as I cut some out when I had a shot of Lily's nesties but didnt cut enough of the cream ones ) then i glitzed up the cream heart with Pearls and gems then cut out a cream patterned bit to make the shirt and added black gems for buttons. I used the Mr &Mrs set for the stampin in the corners and added gems. Really don't want to put this card away its for someone else so I will just have to make another one. Back to christma cards again now...
