Pearl Anniversary

Well just another day left of my holidays then it will be back and into it.. Not been the best of holidays and the weather has been terrible now I see why I never take school holidays, but hay ho.. I had a lovely day yesterday with my crafty friends, as it was Helens birthday we all met up for a coffee and a chat so it was great and of couse a lot of crafty chit chat was going on but I really enjoyed my afternoon.  On to today well ive been busy bagging up all my cakes and fudge for a coffee morning tomorrow , then I went onto make this card for my sister in law to give to her sister for her pearl anniversary, used the SU papers which are just coming to an end and i will be very sorry to see them go as they are really nice. Cut hearts out with nesties and decorated them with pearls and gems from stash and the 30 was cut with cuttlebug dies and the sentiment was also done with nesties it actually looks a different colour of cream in the photo but it was done with pearlised card which seems to have changed colour with the photo, this is quite a simple card but Im really pleased with it . Off now to take my mother in law to collect her new glasses. Catch up with you all soon. Aud x

Good afternoon to all my crafty buddies the weather isnt very good, its raining and really dreary here today but unfortaunately we cant do much about the weather.  Been on holiday all week and not ventured far at all which Im disappointed about but there is always next week, but Ive had a great time in my craft room doing different cards although most have been anniversary ones, and Ive also got my inviations all finished which is a boost and Im now doing samples for another couple. I went to Insch yesterday to see my crafty friend Elaine and as usual she gave me some great ideas, and of course who else did I meet their but my other crafty buddy Carol, so we had a quick news with her although her visit was short and sweet as her hubby was waiting outside for her. So on to my card , Im not sure what these papers are they were in my stash , the image is a fizzy moon coloured in with prismas, gems candy and ribbon is also from stash. So Im off now to get my haircut and then we will see what the weekend has in store for me.  Catch up with you all tomorrow. Aud x

Anniversary

Please do not ask why Im on here today and not away to Inverness as this is a very sore point. !!  This is another card I made for an anniversary and wanted to keep it clean and simple. Used nesties for the circle and the hearts and the sentiment and the wee bouquet of roses are from my stash as is the gems. Of to make another anniversary card for a young couple so will post it tomorrow, Im now away back to sulk in my craft room and hope that tomorrow will be a better day. Aud x

Happy Anniversary

Well weather a bit better today, the snow has went as quick as it came thankfully.  Been crafting today again and its fine just to potter around. This is an anniversary card and its made with linen card off white and a wine colour pearlised card as well, the stamped heart is from the papeterie as is the ink which is a ranger and I have to say well impressed with it. Pearls and candy are from stash and the punch is a MS.  im away to run a bath now and hold in with Robbie as he promised to take me to Inverness tomorrow but he is very busy at work and Im scared to ask so will just wait and see but I will be really dissapointed if I dont get especially when I didnt get away to my sisters yesterday so fingers crossed. Its SNOW Fair.....

Well this is what I woke up to this morning, and Im gutted as I was supposed to be going to my sisters and she was going to take me and my mum to some of the craft shops in her area, but I didnt want to chance driving in the snow with our new car so not a happy bunny today so Im sitting up in my craft room with the music on and crafting away it was either that or housework so ive taken the better option... Having a play around today so I will be saving money instead of spending . Catch up with you all soon. Aud x

40th Birthday

This is a card I made for my friend who was 40 on saturday  I used craftworks card and made it into an easel,  the image is the cupcake digi stamp coloured in with prismas then I glitzed up with rainbow hotfix gems, the photo doesnt show it up as well as the real card was. Ribbon was from simply create, Alford and papers are first edition hideaway just love them some of them are plain others are glitzy. sentiment done on computer then cut with sizzix nesties.I didnt have cardy quite the right colour so I punched out little hearts with the same paper to put on the edge of my card.

Wedding Day

Sorry to all my blogging friends I said last week I was going to be back on track and blogging again but havent had a good week, been feeling a bit under the weather mainly because I have very inconsiderate neighbours moved in and do believe in partying.. so didint get much sleep last weekend at all and its really knocked me for six, so Im on holiday for 2 weeks now and I am going to try and relax a bit although Im not really good at that ! Im taking my mother in law to the opticians tomorrow then having lunch, then on tues im going to my sisters and she is very kindly going to take me to some of the craft shops down in her neck of the woods then on thursday Robbie is going to take me to Inverness to howdens garden centre/ craft shop so looking forward to all of these trips then the rest of the holidays Im free to do as I wish.  I got all my wedding invitations finished and I will post them once the bride has sent them out to her guests, so had a play around in my craft room today. This wedding card  was done using LOTV squares but I cut it with nesties, embossed my background with swiss dots folder then the border is with nesties as well, decorated with gems and pearls from stash, corner is with crafts too punch.
